Exepal turns model, search and public data into single-purpose tools that agents and people pay for per call, from $0.001. One question, one price, one JSON answer. Pay in USDC with x402, through MCP, or by card on Apify. No accounts, no API keys. The cheap tools include 20 free calls a day, no wallet needed. Get a free key for your own allowance.
Twelve tools behind api.exepal.com, five of them on the Apify Store too. We own the prompts, the parsing, the scoring and the caching; you get a stable schema and a per-call price you can put in a spreadsheet.
Does ChatGPT recommend you or your competitor? Is that creator's audience real? Will this ad hook in the first two seconds? Ask in plain words from Claude or ChatGPT, or run a report on Apify with a card.
Software is starting to buy software, one call at a time. Exepal sells those buyers computed answers, over card and stablecoin rails, from one shared engine, with a markup built into every call.
One public Instagram, TikTok or YouTube profile: followers, bio, verified, engagement rate, average views, how often they post and their recent posts. Instagram adds follower history where we track the account.
in handle | profile URL out followers, bio, metrics{engagementRate, avgViews, postsPerWeek}, recentPosts[], history[], growth30d
Served from Exepal's creator index or a 72-hour cache when fresh, otherwise fetched live through public scraper Actors. Private or missing profiles return 400 and cost nothing. x402 and MCP.
Instagram and TikTok scrapers are the most-used tools on Apify after Google Maps; this is the same data as one paid call, no account.
The words of any YouTube video with captions, in the language you ask for, plus its title, channel, length, views, description and chapters.
in video URL | id, lang? out text, segments[{start, dur, text}], chapters[], title, channel, durationSeconds, views, availableLanguages[]
Read straight from YouTube's caption tracks, manual captions preferred over auto-generated. Cached 7 days. Videos without a transcript return 400 and cost nothing. x402 and MCP.
Transcript APIs sell plans and credits; this is $0.002 a video with no signup and no charge for a miss.
Businesses from Google Maps for any search and place, each with address, phone, website, rating and reviews, plus the emails, phones and social profiles on its own website, emails already checked.
in query, location, limit? out leads[{name, phone, website, rating, contacts{emails[{deliverable}], phones[], socials{}}}], summary
A Google Maps scraper Actor for the listings, then each website's home and contact page read directly and every email run through email check. Cached 7 days. x402 and MCP.
Google Maps scraping is the single most-used Actor on Apify; leads here arrive with contacts and checked emails in one call.
Give an agent any public URL and get the page back as clean markdown: title, author, date, body and links, without the navigation, cookie banners and scripts.
in url, format?, maxChars? out content, title, description, author?, publishedAt?, links[], wordCount
Direct fetch, main-content detection, HTML to markdown, metadata from meta, Open Graph and JSON-LD. Static HTML only. Batch endpoint for ten. x402 and MCP only.
The most-called category on x402, priced at half of the usual $0.01 with no upstream cost at all.
Before you trust a domain: who registered it and when, whether it really sends mail, how well its email is protected, where it's hosted and what it runs on.
in domain out dns, email{grade}, registration{registrar, createdAt, expiresAt}, web{tech[]}, hosting, flags[], summary
DNS over HTTPS, RDAP for registration, a probe of the site for headers and tech fingerprints, risk flags computed from all three. Cached 6h. x402 and MCP only.
Fraud, sales and security agents all ask this question before acting; WHOIS vendors sell it on $99-a-month plans.
Before an agent writes to an address: is it well-formed, does the domain take mail, is it disposable or a role inbox, is it a typo of gmail.com, and how likely is it to deliver.
in email | emails[] out deliverable, score, normalized, mx, disposable, role, suggestion, domainSecurity{grade}, flags[]
Syntax, MX/null-MX/A-fallback, SPF and DMARC over DNS-over-HTTPS, a 214k-domain disposable list refreshed daily, provider typo distance. No SMTP probe. Batch of ten. x402 and MCP only.
Email verification APIs charge $0.004–0.01 per address on prepaid plans; this is $0.002 per call with no plan and no upstream cost.
The Nepali and Indian details a model guesses wrong: Bikram Sambat dates, amounts in lakh and crore and in Nepali words, phone numbers, GSTIN, PAN, Aadhaar and IFSC checks, and the official NPR exchange rate for any day.
in date | value | phone | id | currency out exact conversion, validity, operator/state/bank, Devanagari forms, NRB buy/sell rates
Five endpoints: /date, /number, /phone, /id, /forex. Pure code for four: a cross-checked BS calendar table (1970–2090), lakh/crore wording, operator prefixes, GSTIN mod-36 and Aadhaar Verhoeff checksums. Forex reads Nepal Rastra Bank's published table, cached. x402 and MCP only.
Nobody sells this per call. It is the first piece of the South Asia data layer, priced so agents never think about it.
Do ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity recommend you, or your competitor? See share of voice, the prompts you're missing from and the sources they cite.
in brand, category, competitors?, domain?, market? out score, engines[], shareOfVoice[], missedPrompts[], topCitedDomains[], recommendations[]
Four engines queried in parallel without naming the brand in the prompt, mentions parsed and ranked, cached 24h. Tiers: /quick, default, /deep. Apify: exepal/ai-brand-visibility.
The new SEO question. Every brand will ask it, repeatedly, and very few can answer it per call without a subscription.
Before you pay a creator: fake-follower risk, real engagement quality, posting consistency and a fair estimated UGC rate.
in platform (instagram|tiktok|youtube), handle, profile? out fakeFollowerRisk, engagementQuality, consistency, redFlags[], ugcRate
Pulls public profile stats through scraper Actors, or skips the upstream entirely when you pass your own numbers. Scoring is deterministic. Apify: exepal/creator-vetting.
Creator budgets are large and mostly unvetted. A twenty-cent check sits in front of every deal.
Turn a list of domains into clean company profiles: what they do, size, socials, contacts and tech stack, ready for outreach.
in domain | domains[] out name, description, industry, size, hq, socials, contacts, techStack[], confidence
Reads the site itself (home, about, pricing, contact), fingerprints the stack, and uses a model only to tidy the summary. Batch endpoint for ten. Apify: exepal/company-enrich.
The first input every sales agent needs, priced like a utility rather than a seat licence.
Call api.exepal.com directly. The first response is a 402 with the price; an x402-capable client pays and retries. No keys, no signup.

Why this exists
A thesis on the agent economy, in four parts.
Data used to be sold to people by the seat. The next buyers are programs that decide for themselves what they need and pay for exactly that.
01 · demand
Agents can't sign up, but they can pay.
An agent mid-task can't fill a sales form or wait for an API key. It can read a price and settle it. Per-call payment over x402, or a metered card through Apify, is the shape of commerce that software buyers can actually use.
02 · product
Single-purpose beats platform.
Each tool answers one question with one stable JSON shape. That makes it easy for an agent to choose, easy for a developer to trust, and easy for a marketer to understand. No dashboard to learn.
03 · economics
Margin is designed in, call by call.
Prices are set in events, not tied to one vendor's rate card, and target several times the upstream cost. Every upstream answer is cached for 24 hours, so a repeated question costs almost nothing to serve.
04 · resilience
Two rails, many sources, one engine.
Fiat through Apify and stablecoin through x402 run on the same code, operated by Socialji LLC. Tools draw on more than one upstream where possible, so no single provider can switch the business off.

Questions
Frequently asked questions.
What is Exepal?
Exepal sells single-purpose data and analysis tools as paid API calls. Each tool answers one question with one JSON shape and one price, from $0.001 a call. It's built for AI agents and the developers who build them.
Do I need an account or an API key?
No. On api.exepal.com the price is quoted in an HTTP 402 response and paid per call in USDC on Base with the x402 protocol. If you'd rather pay by card, the five analysis tools are also Actors on the Apify Store.
What is x402?
x402 is an open protocol that uses the HTTP 402 Payment Required status code so a program can pay for a request on the spot. The server replies with a price, the client signs a stablecoin payment and retries, and gets the answer. No signup, no invoice.
How do I use Exepal from Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT?
Add https://api.exepal.com/mcp as a remote MCP server. Every tool appears with its price, and an x402-capable client pays per call in USDC. Or add Apify's MCP server (mcp.apify.com) and pay from your Apify balance by card.
Am I charged if a call fails?
No. Payment only settles when the tool returns an answer. A page that can't be fetched or an upstream outage returns an error and costs nothing.
The full catalogue as JSON: inputs, outputs, prices, Apify Actor ids and payment details. CORS open.
api.exepal.com/mcp
The MCP route: Claude, Cursor and any MCP client can connect to Exepal's own MCP server and pay per tool call in USDC, or run every Exepal Actor by name through Apify's MCP server (mcp.apify.com).
You are now reading exepal.com the way an agent does.
