AI testers · instant

Can't wait 3 days? Run AI testers now.

Pick how many: 3 or 100. Each AI tester is a different synthetic user (a student in Berlin, a shop owner in Lagos, a retiree in Ohio on an old PC) who reads your website and tells you what they think, in any language. Results in about a minute. The first 3 are free. More about AI testers.

More than 3 are paid from credit on your key at $0.10 each, and you're never charged for testers who don't answer. No key? Get one free, then add credit.

AI testers are synthetic users: they read your pages' text, not a real browser, and they aren't real people. They're great for catching obvious problems fast. For real reactions, or a phone app, use human testers.

Your AI agent can hire them too

Exepal's MCP server has a strangers_ai tool: 10 AI testers per call for $1, paid per call in USDC (x402) or from your key's credit. Call it again with offset for 10 more, as many times as you like.

Why strangers

The people who love you are the worst testers.

They know what you meant to build, so they fill in the gaps for you. A stranger only sees what's actually on the screen, just like your next thousand users.

Friends and family

  • "Looks amazing, well done!"
  • Already know where the buttons are
  • Won't tell you it's confusing
  • Say they'd use it, then never do

10 strangers

  • "I couldn't find how to sign up."
  • See your app for the very first time
  • Point to the exact screen where they quit
  • Rate honestly whether they'd come back
What you get

One report. The problems that matter most come first.

Every tester's answers in full, plus the patterns: what more than one person hit, how many would come back, and the fix we'd make first.

Example report · a recipe app (web)10 of 10 testers · delivered in 2 days
Would come back
6 / 10
Finished the main task
7 / 10
First impression
3.6 / 5
7/10
Couldn't find the sign-up button on mobile"I scrolled twice and gave up looking, then saw it hidden in the menu."
5/10
Didn't understand what "Collections" meant"Is that a playlist? A folder? I wasn't sure what would happen."
4/10
Loved the 10-minute recipes filter"That's the reason I'd come back. Put it on the home page."
Fix first: put the sign-up button in the top bar on mobile. Seven of ten testers looked for it there.

What we never sell: store reviews, star ratings, fake installs, bot traffic or fake accounts. They break Play Store and App Store rules and can get your app removed. Every tester is a real person on their own device, saying what they actually think.

Questions

Good to know

Who are the testers?
Real people who signed up at exepal.com/testers and get paid a small fee per task. Many are in South Asia right now, so tell us if you need a particular country and we'll say honestly whether we can cover it.
What if fewer than 10 people finish?
We refund the share for every missing tester. If we can't start within 7 days of payment, you get a full refund. See refunds.
Does the Play test guarantee Google approves my app?
No. Google decides. We make sure 12 or more real testers stay opted in and use your app for the full 14 days, which is what Google asks for, and we pass on their feedback.
Is my app kept private?
Testers agree not to share your app, link or anything they see during a test.
Can my AI agent use this?
Yes, for AI testers: the strangers_ai tool on Exepal's MCP server, or POST /v1/strangers/ai, is $1 for 10 visitors, and the agent can call it again for more. Ordering real strangers through an API is coming next.
How are AI testers different from human testers?
AI testers are synthetic users (made-up personas) that read the text of your pages. They're instant and cheap, and good at spotting unclear wording, a hidden price or a missing sign-up. They can't install a phone app, see your design the way a person does, or tell you what real people will actually do. Use them first, then check with real strangers.
